Fossil?

The small holes are probably not fossils, but if they were they would probably be worm burrows. The black rock in the last photo is interesting :blink:

I would love to hear what others have to say...

I think the black spots could be carbonized plant bits, not uncommon in PA most places...

They look more like iron oxide to Me.

Also a possibility. The only test I can thing of, is see if it's crumbly or not.
