ajnthony
Went fossil hunting today with my sons after a bad storm that rolled through over the weekend at Calvert Cliffs in Maryland. It was a pretty good day hunting. My sons only lasted about an hour because of the heat. Anyways, we came across this object which we think is a tooth. We have been wrong before. Any help is much appreciated as always. I am also including a photo of our finds today.
Miocene_Mason
I think it's bone, or possible a worn scute. “...whilst this planet has gone cycling on according to the fixed law of gravity, from so simple a beginning endless forms most beautiful and most wonderful have been and are being evolved.” ~ Charles Darwin Happy hunting, Mason
JohnBrewer
Just brightened a little bone of some sort for me but more images from several angles will help those who know the area. 1 John Map of UK fossil sites

Boesse
Bone is clearly visible on the broken surfaces. What comes to mind is a tibia/fibula that's fused proximally, but that's just a guess. This is some sort of bone from a tetrapod (rather than fish, I think). Unclear if mammal or sea turtle; if marine mammal, it's not something I immediately recognize. Thepaleontologist101
It's probably a bone from the flipper on a seal
