I found this about a year ago in upstate pennsylvania in a rock quarry. I am still stumped by it...

There isnt anything on the other sides

 

It has a lined texture on it and what looks to be some sort of tootg residue

This might be a burrow cast, but I don't think it is a dinosaur tooth. :( From what I know about Pennsylvania, much of it is Paleozoic.
