Hello everyone! I just want to take a moment to thank every single person who has given me advice and assisted in IDing my teeth fossils. You all are great. I have one more for you to look at, and I honestly have no idea. Thanks in advance!

That's a very small shark tooth, probably a posterior tooth based on the crown size being extremely small compared to the root (do you even get what I'm saying? xD)

All I know is that the tooth has cusps (smaller pointy things next to the main crown), but the tooth is too simple to get a thorough ID unless we are given the exact location of where it was found.

My initial guess would be either cretolamna or otodus.

If you're a fossil nut from Palos Verdes, San Pedro, Redondo Beach, or Torrance, feel free to shoot me a PM!

@eannis6 if the tooth was from Bayfront Park then it will not be an Otodus. This tooth appears to be a very worn down sandtiger tooth.

Do or do not. There is no try. - Yoda
