Hello everyone, just a short one to say hi. Name's Alex, from the UK (south east, nice area for fossil hunting) and I guess I've always had an interest in biological evolution and with it, palentology and the fossil record. It's not something I get to practice very much unfortunately, however when I do it would be nice to have a community to share with, so although I may lurk most of the time, hopefully I can make some positive contributions and also get to learn from the more experienced among you!

 

Thanks in advance for bearing with my inexperience and good hunting to all of you!

Welcome from sunny California!  Do you ever get out to the Jurassic Coast to do some fossil hunting?  Be sure to post some of your finds here for everyone to admire.
