westjavabeach
Last week i found this rock at the same area where I found some coral fossils in Pantai Cimaja, Sukabumi. Different from the common Indonesian fossil coral and just have no idea of what this might be. Any information is much appreciated. Miocene_Mason
By common Indonesian fossil coral, I assume you mean the ones collected from the Miocene period. If this is from that, I would guess worm tube cross sections, although I would not rule out simple mineral filled cavities. “...whilst this planet has gone cycling on according to the fixed law of gravity, from so simple a beginning endless forms most beautiful and most wonderful have been and are being evolved.” ~ Charles Darwin Happy hunting, Mason
