Big and small dinosaur eggs

Recommended Posts

This clutch of dinosaur eggs is from Ganzhou of China.  Among the normal sized eggs, there is a much smaller egg.  Was it part of the same clutch (like leatherback has both normal sized eggs and small unfertilized eggs), or it belonged to another animal?

If it was not composited on, perhaps a segnosaur borrowed the nest of a tortoise or very small dinosaur.

It would have to be prepped to determine if the shell structure and shape is the same or different.  Definitely an anomaly.
