Troodon
Looks like students of UNLV found bones of dinosaur which are now being studied by the Las Vegas Natural History Museum. The bones appear to be that of a hadrosaur and if named would be a first for Nevada News report attached and check out video in that report http://news3lv.com/news/local/new-dinosaur-species-discovered-in-valley-of-fire

Tidgy's Dad
Nice. One had mistakenly assumed Nevada would be an ideal place for Dinosaur hunting. I am surprised that these are the first. Life's Good! Tortoise Friend.

Yes, and California has some, of course. But I seem to remember seeing footprints of several dinosaurs from Nevada as well, so just assumed dinosaurs had been found there. Life's Good!
