Andy B
I see a lot of stone or bone (??) like this in my searching. I usually toss them aside but I wanted to see what you guys thought. They are heavy like stone but come in these odd channeled forms and also just in odd shapes. Just curious what they look like to you. Thanks. RJB
Hi Andy, post a pic of the end? That may help in determinging what it is? RB
Tidgy's Dad
Look like ironstone nodules or infillings to me, but closer pics may prove me wrong. Again. 1 Life's Good! Tortoise Friend.
ynot
I agree with an iron concretion, but could be a cast of a burrow also. Can You post some of the odd shaped pieces? 1 Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys." Will Rogers said: " Some of them didn't spring far enough." Andy B
Sure, I will put up a few as soon as I can. Iron concretion sounds pretty intuitive. They always strike me as rusty when I find them. And some of the shapes are not what I would describe as animal per se.
Darktooth
There are tons of concretions in those streams. 1 I like Trilo-butts and I cannot lie.

abyssunder
I would like to put them (the first two) in the hollow ironstone concretions category, with no doubt. 1 " We are not separate and independent entities, but like links in a chain, and we could not by any means be what we are without those who went before us and showed us the way.
