Troodon
Definitely looks big enough to be one. What is the locality (State and county) and Formation?
cjbrown
The person I purchased from said it was found in Montana Hell Creek Formation

cjbrown
Sadly that’s all the seller knows of its origin. I was hoping for more of a backstory but I ended up impulse buying as the price was fantastic.
Troodon
The tooth looks like a rex tooth if its indeed from the Hell Creek Formation. County is important to verify it indeed is from the Hell Creek Formation. Impulse buying is not good when it comes to theropod teeth. Do you due diligence before you buy. Nice tooth...

Bobby Rico
I think I have seen this tooth on TFF before in a members collection. But only from the front. Looks nice.

Although he’s not 100% sure on this Well there is a Butte County in South Dakota where you do find Trex but none in Montana.

-Andy-
What a shame. I came into this thread to admire a new tooth only to see that the OP has deleted the pictures after getting his answer. Looking forward to meeting my fellow Singaporean collectors! Do PM me if you are a Singaporean, or an overseas fossil-collector coming here for a holiday!
