Spanky312
Found this on the beach today. I know some folks have found horse teeth so maybe this part of a horse jaw?
Bone guy
Not to sure what that could be. It's definitely a mammal jaw. The teeth don't look right to be horse. I'm thinking deer.
Fossildude19
I took the liberty of cropping and brightening your pictures. I don't think it's a jaw, as the "teeth" seem to lack enamel. I cannot think what it could be, other than a suggestively shaped rock. 4 Tim - VETERAN SHALE SPLITTER VFOTM --- APRIL - 2015 __________________________________________________ "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks." mikeymig
Looks like psilomelane or limonite to me. Many times I've wondered how much there is to know. led zeppelin

Psilonichnus (a biologic trace) is not the same as psilomelane (a mineral). Your piece does not resemble any fossil I know of. Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys." Spanky312
I found a picture of psilonichnus online and what I have looked like a broken piece of that. Maybe I looked at a picture of psilomelane instead? Of course, now that I am looking again I can’t find the photo I previously compared it to.
