Crinoid or concretion?

Recommended Posts

I found this while digging in my yard, early this morning.  Can't say how long it could have possibly been there, I must note the previous owners did have an abundance of river rock brought in for decoration over a decade ago.  The piece itself was about 15 inches down.  It looked cool on the surface but when I took my loupe to it I found some interesting markings.  I don't know if I'm looking at perhaps crinoid stems, plant parts, or an interesting geologic concretion?  Thank you for your help.  :trex:
