Jazfossilator
Found Myrtle Beach South Carolina, where Cretaceous, Pliocene, and Pleistocene material can be found. I know much of the root is missing, I can’t decide on what this tooth is. Any help appreciated!
ynot
My guess is a carcharodon hastalis. 2 Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys." Will Rogers said: " Some of them didn't spring far enough." That’s what I was leaning towards, don’t find many of these so I was skeptical. Thank you for your quick answer!

Tidgy's Dad
Quite a nice little one. The cutting edges are well preserved. 1 Life's Good! Tortoise Friend.

Macrophyseter
My guess would also be Cosmopolitodus/Carcharodon hastalis or Isurus desori. 1 If you're a fossil nut from Palos Verdes, San Pedro, Redondo Beach, or Torrance, feel free to shoot me a PM!
