Jeffrey P
Found what looks like a coprolite attached to a piece of matrix. It was found in Willow Brook this AM. Willow Brook contains exposures of Upper Cretaceous formations. It is located in Monmouth County, New Jersey. Can anyone confirm whether this is a coprolite or not and if so what might have made it. I've included views of both sides. Thank you.
The Jersey Devil
Hi Jeff, it is a ghost shrimp burrow piece. The "matrix" is actually another burrow channel. 4 “You must take your opponent into a deep dark forest where 2+2=5, and the path leading out is only wide enough for one.” ― Mikhail Tal

Carl
I agree with @josephstrizhak. It's Ophiomorpha.

It didn't appear like other shrimp burrows I've collected, but that could be the result of stream wear.
