Bone guy
Found this piece which looks pretty real to me. The seller says this is from Morocco, but he never mentions the genus or species. I kinda have a double question. Do this two trilos look restored? And if not, is there any way to ID them? To me they kinda look like Elredgeops. First trilo is about 2 inches and the rolled one is 1 inch.
Miocene_Mason
I don’t see any obvious restoration but I don’t have an eye for those things. It also does look like an Eldregeops. 1 “...whilst this planet has gone cycling on according to the fixed law of gravity, from so simple a beginning endless forms most beautiful and most wonderful have been and are being evolved.” ~ Charles Darwin Happy hunting, Mason
Kane
Common and not worth restoration or faking. If from Morocco, it will be Phacops, not Eldredgeops.the latter is generally reserved for similar genera in North America. 3 ...How to Philosophize with a Hammer

Fossildude19
The matrix doesn't look like Moroccan matrix. Looks more like New York, or Ohio matrix. 2 Tim - VETERAN SHALE SPLITTER VFOTM --- APRIL - 2015 __________________________________________________ "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks."
