Is this smoky quartz with amethyst?

I know that the one side is amethyst in the picture, but on the other side looks like smoky quartz with a vein of quartz in the middle. Clear to dark gray in color.  Any info would help. Thanks

Interesting - I've seen these amethyst pieces before but never seen a piece with more xls lining the other side (smoky or otherwise)!

Yes, it resembles some of our  finds from Diamond Hill in S.Carolina.

No. It actually came with fossils, minerals, and a ton of amethyst. There are quite a few with smoky quartz much bigger. It took a long time to clean, but beautiful pieces!!!

Beautiful specimen. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one with amethyst and smoky quartz before.
