talon22 42 Report post Posted August 9, 2018 Hi, This one has me stumped with the id, is this a Pterosaur claw or something else like a possible theropod claw? It is from the kem kem and is 2cm long. Since i am clueless when it comes to identifying claws from different animals, which diagnostic features can help determine if it is pterosaur or not. Thanks. Troodon 11,231 Report post Posted August 9, 2018 Very little is published or known on claws from the Kem Kem. This morphology continues to be sold as pterosaur but from prior discussion here on the forum do not believe its one. It also does not compare well from other known Pterosaur claws. It may be theropod but currently its indeterminate what it is. Just an fyi the claw is missing its proximal end.
