When I hunt trilobites in the Eau Claire Formation, Cambrian, I encounter this type of rock frequently. Could it be trilobite trace fossils or just dried mud??? The squiggles are raised over the background rock.

look like mud cracks to me. Trilobite tracks look mainly  like these

Mud it is!!! Still another unique piece to add to the collection in the barn. won't pick up anymore though!!!
