FrozenFlame
Wow, that is beautiful! What did they use to colour it? Not so familiar with Meg prep, but that is a beautiful shade on that!

caldigger
11.5cm brings it up to around 4.5 inches. A nice healthy sized tooth! Is this one from the rock quarry you have shown us in the past?
meg.cu
@caldigger, yes same quarry that I’ve shown in past. 1 "Message me for info on Fossil Collecting in Cuba. "
Plax
are the teeth in the unconsolidated or weathered sediment at the top of the section? Am not seeing any breaks in deposition where teeth would usually accumulate in the indurated rock. Are there other marine fossils in the rock? meg.cu
@FrozenFlame the color is natural. The minerals in the matrix leach into the tooth over millions of years to create these beautiful colors. 1 "Message me for info on Fossil Collecting in Cuba.
