Ornithischians from the Morisson Formation

Troodon

Recommended Posts

A very informative journal from the Utah Geological Association that focuses on ornithischian dinosaurs from the Morrison Formation which form only about 15% of the dinosaur specimens recovered.

What is key for those familar with this assemblage is that this article demonstrates that Nanosaurus agilis is the senior name for Drinker nisti,  Othnielosaurus consors,  and  Othnielia rex

Four valid genera and six species are present:

Fruitadens haagaroum, Nanosaurus agilis, Camptosaurus dispar, C. aphanoecetes, Dryosaurus altus, and  D. elderae
