Red Flags with Kem Kem Material

This week's red flags 

 

This bone is being sold as a neural spine of a reptile or dinosaur.   It's actually a pretty complete Chevron and could be dinosaurian.  Needs lots of prepping to clean it up.

Lots of Dromaeosaur raptor teeth being sold.   All are either Abelisaurid indet or juvie Carcharodontosaurid

Lots of caudal Vertebrae being sold as Spinosaurus or Carcharodontosaurus, most are Crocodyliforms, unknown or other Dino so post here before you buy

Lots of rare phalanx toe bones from Dinosaurs or reptiles being sold this week.  Most are Reptlian, Croc or turtle.

Can i ask what do you think of the snake vertebra's for sale?. Apparently it is from a recently described snake called Norisophis.

Specimen looks like a snake vertebra but is it that species I have no clue.  First I dont know how to distinguish between different snakes vertebrae and this one needs to be cleaned up before it can be compared to the paper.  There must be other snake species in the Kem Kem, described or not so only an expert can assign this one to N. begaa.  I will also say that the seller states it comes from the Ifezouane formation while the paper indicates they believe the holotype comes from the Aoufous Formation which is a bit younger in age.   You may want to ask the author of the paper C. Klein, her email is on the first page.  Looks like a cool buy anyway.
