Per my promise to Tiggy’s Dad, here are some of my Ordovician and other period fossils from the Nashville, Tennessee area.  Disclaimer:  following is a very small sample - I have multiple bags of fossils so I will continue to post as time permits.

I’d love to know what this impression is - reminds me of an Ottoia burrow. It is about 3/4” deep

Sorry to be a kill joy or negative nancy, but this is the only fossil I see out of those. Looks like the inner shell of a brachiopod.

...I'm back.

Thanks for posting and remembering me, Shauna! :)

I'm afraid I agree with Raggedy Man about the first batch, your first and favourite piece is an interestingly eroded piece of limestone, where the erosion or removal of a couple of harder parts have left the appearance of eyes.

The next one is a concretion or maybe a piece of chert.

The 'nautiloid' may be something, or just erosion, I can't tell, but i don't think it's a nautiloid.

The 'eurypterid' is conchoidal fracture in chert.

Then there's the possible brachiopod bits, a rock and a possible infilled burrow or just a nodule.

But the second batch are much more interesting, splendid fossils, i think! :D

You are correct in your ids for these, the gastropods and brachiopods are beautiful!

Ralph, @Nimravis was quite right, I love 'em!

Gastropods - the most common fossil I find

I think these might be solitary rugose corals rather than gastropods...

(it's always nice to find relatively complete ones like these appear to be - congrats!)
