A few of my Cretaceous amber pieces from my collection.

Recommended Posts

Hello All! I figured I'd share a few pieces of my collection. I have over 800 so far and have been collecting over 23 years. I hope you enjoy them! Brian

Welcome to the forum and very beautiful pictures and awesome specimens!
Can't wait to see the rest of your collection. :)
I would dream to one day get my hands on a piece of cretaceous amber with an inclusion as well.

Beautiful amber. I really love the last one with  the little spider. Stunning photos too.

Thanks Friends! Yes, I have a whole shop behind my home dedicated to polishing amber. I've been cutting and polishing amber rough for about 20 years. :)

Good Morning! I was up until late at night finishing this piece. A swarm of 20+ Cretaceous Termites. They're literally stacked on each other! ;)825.thumb.jpg.3f047a085f098e9d8989b2120daf0d9b.jpg825b.jpg.b590d4bc22a3a3be1b5c599feec6244b.jpg825d.thumb.jpg.a8c2c98c2324e49ba877f803e5c677ae.jpg

23 years?  But Myanmar was a military dictatorship until recently.   How did you collect burmite at that time.

I've polished Dominican and Baltic amber for many years...not just Burmite. ;)

How many lizards do you have?

None currently...I sold the one I had to a Collector friend of mine. But I do find Reptilian scales on occasion.
