InfoHungryMom
THIS ONE HAS SEXY FOSSILS- heck, I can even feel the cockles clamming-up over this one! Sooooo... did I get this right? (Not volcanic glass, and definitely from “ancient water”....right?). :-D

InfoHungryMom
Yeeeehaaaaaa!!!! Sooooo, what else is in there, please? There is something in the back of the rock/specimen as well. This is loaded with “stuff” to my untrained eyes... and the photos aren’t helping (taken w/my cell phone inside). I have collected for years, but never intentionally looked for fossils.... thank you all for the info.... and , ummm, my limit is time... not samples nor questions! ynot
I do not see anything else that is identifiable (from pictures). May need an in hand look to be able to make any guesses. 1 Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys." Will Rogers said: " Some of them didn't spring far enough." InfoHungryMom
Shouldn’t I respond why not ynot? Just a hop, skip, jump, and 5 hour flight away! Thank you for looking- It did not photograph well! I apologize in advance to you and everyone when I ask zillions of questions.... again, I have collected at every possible opportunity (there are never enough of those), but I have amassed an enormous amount of “stuff”! Try a local rock club or museum. Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys." Will Rogers said: " Some of them didn't spring far enough." InfoHungryMom
Thank you, ynot. I’ve done the “Rock Club” route before. In college, I went so far as to switch to a double major in college- from a triple major of math/computer science/management to the double major of ‘ “rock-and-roll”. I met quite a few people who were stoned, who really dug school.... you can take it from here....

There could be, but that first one looks more like a favositid to me. It is hard to get a good read on that center though.
