Benjaminpb
I took a trip to the North Sulphur River this past weekend and this was the first thing I found. It looks like Mastadon tooth enamel to me but I’ve never found any, so I could wrong. Any input is much appreciated. I’ll be posting more things I found while on my trip. Thank’s. caldigger
I would say you got it pretty good. Now get out there and find the rest of that bad boy!
Benjaminpb
Haha! I’d love to be able to find the rest. However, I live about 4 hours south of the NSR and only get to make the trip a couple times a year. If I lived near by I’d be in there every day. Uncle Siphuncle
Looks like a mammoth enamel frag to me as opposed to mastodon. 2 Grüße, Daniel A. Wöhr aus Südtexas "To the motivated go the spoils."

Uncle Siphuncle
A very nice find for any collection. Few things conjure up images quite like holding a bit-o-mammoth! 1 Grüße, Daniel A. abyssunder
I'll go with mammoth tooth plate fragment on this one.
