Dinosaur fossils are protected no doubt about that. The Bureau of Land Management puts up the signs in areas of importance just to bring your attention to certain features, here it was the dinosaur footprints. There was also another sign reminding you not to disturb the bird nests there. Everything here is BLM Land.

Yes, yellow is BLM. White is Private. The “Gap” is at the top of square 28. The dinosaur prints is the farthest east I traveled and it is in the “A” in Parowan between squares 26 and 35.01774CEB-1A72-4B57-8CE2-F3194B0F02A1.thumb.png.636221a0ea250ec7dd7ed65932f4b6bd.png
