However I'm not certain we are looking at dissepiments, as opposed to tabulae that fuse with one another rather than form a flat layer across the corallite (as is the case with favositid corals). Dissepiments usually line the walls of the corallites; that is certainly the case with Hexagonaria. I've seen Devonian corals with such tabulae, but I can't recall the name right off.
