ynot Posted February 18, 2019 Share Posted February 18, 2019 Welcome to TFF! This piece looks more like calcite (cave flowstone), a calcium carbonate. See if You can scratch it with a knife. But unless you planned on polishing slabs, there would be no point in it. That is, unless there are crystals in that vug. I like Trilo-butts and I cannot lie. You can cut it, may reveal some interesting patterns or make some nice cabochons. As mentioned, You will need a rock saw to cut it.
