Fragmented Serrated fossil found in big brook nj

The piece measures to be .5 inches by .65 inches and I barely noticed the worn serrated edge, anyone have an idea what it is ?

I agree.  Likely a ghost shrimp claw, or claw of another species of crustacean.

Yep, it’s a ghost shrimp claw, Mesostylus mortoni.
