Hi all,

I found this jaw section with the help of a friend on a trip to SW Florida last week. It was found on the bank of the creek with other land and marine fossils. Any ideas on what it came from? Thanks

Jesse

Maybe a bison jaw? I might be wrong.

If you're a fossil nut from Palos Verdes, San Pedro, Redondo Beach, or Torrance, feel free to shoot me a PM!

I doubt it at that size, the wear on the teeth are throwing me for a loop. Maybe a small tapir?
