minnbuckeye
This gastropod was found in a block of matrix from Graf, Iowa that I split open last week. I have never bumped into this type of gastropod from there before. Research has left me stumped. Suggestions are welcomed! Elgin member, Lower Maquoketa formation, Ordovician. Thanks for the help Mike
Tidgy's Dad
Very nice, but no idea I'm afraid. Life's Good! Tortoise Friend.
Bronzviking
Can we get a closer look with less of the matrix and a top view?

minnbuckeye
I am guessing a type of Trochonema or Cyclonema
Bronzviking
Thanks for the good pics! The Cyclonema has more spirals or ridges around the whorls than your specimen. The Trochonema seems like a closer match, but without the apex it is hard to confirm for sure. Here is other posts for comparison and info. Hope this helps.
