Frank Menser
This I found at the pond, east N. Carolina. it measures 3 cm and is some kind of shell. It has what looks like some crushing damage. I am thinking this might be a part of the back chambers of a cephalopod - possibly Eutrephoceras? Rsmull
It sure looks like the Nautilus type fossils found at Castle Hayne or Rocky Point.
