peperomia
Any thoughts on what this is? I found this on the beach in Venice FL and it's the only piece I haven't been able to roughly identify. That's a pen next to it for scale.
Plantguy
Yes, it does appear to be a bone fragment showing the inner spongy honeycombed texture. Hope you were able to find some other cool stuff. Venice collecting can be a little tougher sometimes during this time of season with all of the extra folks on the beaches visiting/hunting during spring break... ynot
Bone fragment, but not identifiable beyond that. Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys." Will Rogers said: " Some of them didn't spring far enough." My Fossil collection - My Mineral collection My favorite thread on TFF.
peperomia
Sounds good to me, it's a small piece but didn't want to hang onto it if it wasn't at least bone. Thanks!
