Please help identify

I found this hiking up a rock bed after heavy rains at the headwaters of the Buffalo River near Fallsville, Arkansas. It looks like a fish to me but I have no experience in this topic. Please let me know if you have an idea. It is approximately two inches in length.

Looks like a trace fossil of some sort, along the lines of Protovirgularia.

I agree with some sort of feeding or farming trace fossil.

I can see where you are coming from bit for me the lateral extensions are not quite chevron enough. If you know what I mean.
