Paulding OH unknown

I found this thing when I was sorting through the haul from a recent trip to Paulding (Silica Shale, Devonian). I have no idea what it is. Only thing I thought of is some kind of fish bit, really just because it doesn't look like anything else from Paulding that I'm familiar with. Any ideas?

Hard to make out from the photo, but are you sure it isn’t a trilo-bit?

Trilo-bit likely but I wouldn't rule out spirifer-bit. Either way, it is unlikely to be something out of the norm for Paulding.

Didn't look like a trilo bit at first glance but it might be. When school opens back up tomorrow I'll get it under a microscope and try and expose it more.

Agree with trilobite thoracic segments. I can't think, off the top of my head, of any brachiopods at the site that have acute, deep, and narrow plications like that, so I'm going with trilobit.
