Chris Kimo
I've also recently found what appears to be a large segment of fossilized bone combing the coast of Yorkshire at the bottom of a cliff. Could just be a rock with a similar shape for all I know but it looks like a fragment to a larger piece of bone. Any help would be greatly appreciated before I decide to discard it. Thanks guys! ynot
Looks like a chert nodule, not a bone. Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys." Will Rogers said: " Some of them didn't spring far enough." Mark Kmiecik
Very cool ammonite finds. Congrats. Mark. Fossil hunting is easy -- they don't run away when you shoot at them!
