St. Marys Scuba diving

I dove the St. Marys river last weekend. This was my second time diving the river and it did not disappoint. My biggest tooth is a little under 5.5 inches.B37F8181-5FBA-4F18-A203-70D9B3AE57A7.thumb.jpeg.9931b041afbe132c0e2c897fed2d7118.jpeg

I'd say you did fairly well. :)

Fossil hunting is easy -- they don't run away when you shoot at them!

I Love success!!!! You are finding Megs, Makos, Whale teeth & earbones, Horse.  Are you finding any Great Whites ?  I heard they were on the East Coast of Florida.

I keep on talking about Florida fossil finds and this is the first time I have seen this kind of diversity and quantity from North East Florida. I usually ask about St Augustine and Jacksonville and mostly I hear crickets.

Is your experience and expectation different?

Thanks! I did find a few great whites. But they’re  usually just broken blades. The biggest was a hair under 2.75 inches4BC8B60C-34C2-42C4-9663-41778FFD8FF2.thumb.jpeg.c17f63ab0c3d9b20e868ba17aa1af000.jpeg I usually do all my fossiling at the Peace River or Venice, but so far all my dives up in that area have turned up a good diversity of shark teeth and whale fossils, but only horse teeth as far as terrestrial mammals go.
