Yes in Idaho and I meant my Great Grandfather about 65 years ago. He was digging for garnets when he came across it. It then was given to my mom who passed it on to me. I had heard the story every time we visited there back when I was a kid, and heard it mentioned on several other occasions. I will speak with my mom to see if she can get any more specific than that.
