Gideon
My nephew spotted this down at Compton bay on the Isle of Wight. Sorry about the poor photos. The area is early Cretaceous wealden. The fossil is about 1.5-2cm long. Not sure what it could be but hoping it could be some sort of jaw. If anyone has any suggestions it would be most appreciated. Many thanks. Fossildude19
Looks like an ammonite edge, to me. Gideon
It’s a generally terrestrial and freshwater environment so not sure if an ammonite would get there.
