Suggestions for Grapevine Lake TX Fossil Hunting?

Howdy! I am heading up to Grapevine TX next week and have Wednesday afternoon to do some hunting! Any one care to recommend an area I could go hunt? Or want to join me on a hunt?

I have only been to Grapevine lake once and didn’t find a single fossil, but perhaps this could help. From the Dallas Paleontological Society’s Occasional Papers, Volume 7. From what I can gather, go for Rockledge Park. 

 

Also, see Figure 1 in An Enantiornithine Bird from the Lower Middle Cenomanian of Texas. 

 

Keep in mind that the water levels are unusually high for this time of year, so a lot of exposure is beneath the waves.

I found these fossils near Lake Grapevine when I lived there back in the 1980s.  They were found in the creek that runs out of the spillway.  There are large blocks of sandstone in the creek that are full of these shells.  If it has been raining, are probably covered in water right now.
