hokietech96
I went to shark river in NJ and found this in the middle of the creak with my sifter. It was 6-10 inches under dirt and rocks. Why is it still white? I was a little surprised. Would love some feedback on this. Thank you in advance for any comments. Mark

hokietech96
Oh wow! I don't have a mako tooth. I thought it was weird it was white as well. Considering where I found it. I thought someone was playing a cruel joke on me and it was fake.
hokietech96
I only have seen big mako teeth. This one is only about a half an inch.
digit
That tooth does look to be modern. I think someone is playing a joke on someone. Cheers. -Ken
El_Hueso
It does look modern. Perhaps someone had a sharktooth necklace and it broke and fell off while hiking?
hokietech96
Since it was the only tooth I found that day, I will take what I can get. I earned it. haha
