OboeTheFish
Hi I found this fossil in Golden, BC and I can't identify it. I brought it to a BC Paleontological Alliance show today and all they could tell me was that it's an arthropod (probably from the Ordovician) Any tips are appreciated. caldigger
Very curious how they would come up with that conclusion.

I just wanted to know what the rock is since Richmond's Nature park hosts an annual fossil show. The first guy I asked was a 12th grade student in the Vancouver paleological society "Brennan The Paleo Dude" on YouTube who does presentations around greater Vancouver. The second guy was a trilobite collector from the Vancouver island society.
Rockwood
I'm not sure how they came to this conclusion, but I strongly disagree that there is enough evidence to identify this as an arthropod.
