sixgill pete
A fair trade is whatever makes YOU happy. A complete trilobite of another uncommon genus/species seems fair to me. 1 Tim - VETERAN SHALE SPLITTER VFOTM --- APRIL - 2015 __________________________________________________ "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks." Darktooth
What are you looking for in return? I like Trilo-butts and I cannot lie.
caldigger
You might give some suggestions as to your interests for trade material, that way your viewers can tailor to your wants instead of posting bunches of stuff that might not suit your fancy.
JamesAndTheFossilPeach
Sorry for not being clear enough. I was offered these in return for 10 eldredgeops prones. I just wanted to see if that was fair.
Fossildude19
Are the Eldredgeops prepared already? Are they all complete? Are you getting both Ceraurus for the 10 E. ranas? Jackson g
Really it's up to you and what you think is fair, like others have said. I've traded complete trilobites for brachiopods and been pretty happy. But I know others who wouldn't do such a thing, its all down to choice. Although I will add the second complete Ceraurus (Globulobatus?) looks pretty good and is pretty uncommon to get in good shape.

I was offered these in return for 10 eldredgeops prones. I just wanted to see if that was fair. It depends on what the Eldredgeops specimens look like. I would think if most of them are complete and the others nearly so then you have about an even trade. I don't know which is harder to get. Are the sites they are known from closed? Which one is more often seen for sale at shows? Is it five times more difficult to find a Ceraurus (five times the price when for sale for same-quality specimens)? These are the questions to ask yourself. If it's about right, and are leaning toward the trade anyway (and still have a nice Ceraurus not up for trade) then you should do it. Like Jackson G, I have done trades that others might not do but that's because I like to trade for what's unusual. I have traded nice megalodon teeth for teeth of clearly less dollar value but they were unusual and otherwise difficult-impossible for me to find and some fossils are not for sale but they are up for trade for something the other person has found difficult-impossible to find.
