Rockbyter
1.5” X 1.0” tapers to blunt point. Structures up close with microscope are fantastic. the fractals And repetition scream complex multi cell but I have been duped many times by rock before. I don’t see how this couldn’t be flesh fossilized but hey. Found in southern Indiana, but in commercial river rock.
facehugger
I can't identify it, but I have found quite a few chunks of mosasaur bone over the last 3-4 years - this doesn't bear any similarity to fossilized reptile bones that I have found. Other will weigh in...
Carl
The photos are pretty blurry but I'm seeing a favositid coral.
connorp
Looks geological to me. I do see some resemblance to coral, but the mineralization looks wrong. Hard to tell from the photos though.
Fossildude19
I see what may be something encrusted with Beekite rings. We'll need better photos to make any reasonable ID. 1 Tim - VETERAN SHALE SPLITTER VFOTM --- APRIL - 2015 __________________________________________________ "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks."
