    Species diagnosis from Nakamine et al. 2020, p. 20:  "Protibia five slight protrusions on the proximal area of ventral ridge, bearing two spines on the distal area of ventral ridge (three in M. cristata). Hindwing RP divided into five branches; one intra-RP crossvein (4rp4-rp5) present."
