    If I’m not mistaken, I see a small part of an “ear”, similarly to scallops... 

     

    That would be an indication (again, I might be wrong) for this shell not to be a steinkern, unlike stated in the “More Info” part... Plus, I’ve never seen any steinkern with the radial ribs showing.

    You're right. I haven't had this sample in my hands for a long time and simply misinterpreted the photo. I'll correct that.
