Arthropods

Arthropods are animals with jointed legs, exoskeletons and a segmented body. They are considered the most successful group of animals, making up over 75% of all forms of life on the planet. There are arthropods that walk on the earth, fly in the sky and swim in the sea. Groups of creatures which are arthropods include: insects, arachnids, crustaceans, chilopods, diplopods and trilobites.
