Brasilia bradfordensis (Buckman, 1898)
In 1887 Buckman coined the name Ludwigia and called all of these Genus types by that name. Later on he began to differentiate and started giving some of them the name Brasilia, like this one here. Now a complete Zone and also a Subzone take their names from it. Found in Geisingen clay pit. 15cm. Bradfordensis Zone (between the Murchisonae Zone below and the Concavum Zone above), Upper Aalenian, Middle Jurassic.
