Orthosphinctes (Orthosphinctes) sp. (Schindewolf 1925)
7cm. Limestone mold with Calcite xx in the inner whorls, a typical phenomenom in this facies. One can also see the lappet at the end of the body chamber, which identifies the specimen as a male microconch. According to Oloriz(1978), the female macroconch counterpart to this subspecies is Lithacosphinctes sp.
Found in the Kimmeridgian layers near Hausen i.Tal in the upper Danube valley.
