This is an unusual Scutellid trilobite Thysanopeltis speciosa from the Devonian of Morocco. I purchased this from a Moroccan dealer at the MAPS fossil show in Macomb, IL in early April. I am mostly an Ordovician collector, but when I saw this guy sitting at a table near ours I just had to have it.
